About Us
Janna, who was born in Moldova but is a proud Brit, and Marc, a Canadian Swiss, met in London 10 years ago. After a stint in Dubai and a few years in London, they moved to France in April 2023 with their Frenchie Alfie.
Mas Adam came with 2.2 hectares of vineyards (50 to 70-year-old Grenache and Syrah) capable of producing some 10,000 bottles. They will start producing “Alfie’s Red” and “Alfie’s Rose” in 2024.
Janna is a keen chef with several specialties including rabbit (the best chicken they ever had according to our friends’ children), fish, lasagna, spaghetti bolognese, croziflette just to name a few. Marc does the BBQ and also takes great pride in matching the right wine with Janna’s dishes. Please enquire should you wish to save going out and cooking for yourself.
Marc is an ex-international runner having won both the junior and senior Canadian steeplechase titles in his younger days. Injuries forced him to look elsewhere for competitive fun and he raced in the UK (as a Cat 2 having won several Cat 3 races) and in Dubai where he was a regular winner in the Masters races. Since moving to France, Marc has explored the local cycling routes as well as the wineries in the area that offer degustations and sales. Whether Vieux Telegraphe, Mont Redon or Chateau La Nerthe in Chateauneuf-du-Pape, the reasonably priced but quality wines from the AOP Ventoux area such as Le Domaine du Grand Jacquet, Chateau Pesquie, Chene Bleu or smaller producers, Cote du Rhone wines from Cairanne and Rasteau or Ridley Scott’s winery Mas des Infermieres 40 minutes away. all have unique experiences to admire and enjoy.
